Michael Clausen: North Carolina

By  |  November 9, 2014

This week Michael Clausen documents the people and places of his home with his series North Carolina. He writes:

This collection represents a small sample of the people and places I've discovered during my weekly photo walks in North Carolina. I dedicate time each week to capturing visual moments and documenting their place in history. I am fascinated by the connection between human influence on nature and the way time serves as a transformative agent.

Michael Clausen was born in upstate New York. He attended the Ringling College of Art and Design and graduated with a BFA in Computer Animation in 1997. Professionally, he's worked on commercial ads, ride films, and feature films such as The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
