Project: Slowly, Over Time

Description: Slowly, Over Time is a documentary of Parker Stewart’s neighborhood in Savannah, Georgia, recorded over a half decade. Using a large format camera, Stewart captured the neighborhood’s weave of socioeconomic levels as he contemplated the beauty of the dilapidated, the rehabbed, and the inhabited. 



Eyes on the South is curated by Jeff Rich. The weekly series features selections of current work from Southern artists, or artists whose photography concerns the South. Parker Stewart (b. 1992) is a freelance photographer and printer in Savannah, Georgia, and a contributor to Aint-Bad. He holds a B.F.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design. See more of his work on his website or on Instagram @parker_stewart_.
