Brad Land is the author of a memoir, GOAT, and a novel, PILGRIMS UPON THE EARTH. His writing has appeared in GQ, ECOTONE, and elsewhere, and he has been a fellow at the MacDowell Colony. Land’s favorite summer job was at a seafood buffet in Myrtle Beach, where his fry-cook skills flourished under the tutelage of a Lebanese bodybuilder.
