Louisiana's "Year of Music" Begins!

2013 is the official “Year of Music” in Louisiana. To kick off this celebration, Louisiana Tourism and the Oxford American have joined together to bring you the Louisiana Soundtrack Experience: five events across the state that will showcase Louisiana's great musical heritage. The events, free and open to the public, will explore the state's literature, music, films, and food, and will include moderated discussions, screenings of LCRT/Harry Connick Jr. film project, a pre-concert party with free Louisiana-centric food, and an evening concert featuring well-known and emerging musicians.
