Emerging Southern Photographer:
Charlotte Strode—Louisville, Kentucky
Charlotte Strode’s project From focuses on her home state of Kentucky. This work is full of the various transitions of the landscape. Whether in the gradual change from winter to spring, or the daily shift from afternoon to evening, her moody images capture the quiet moments in the Southern rural landscape that can be easily overlooked in the city. Ultimately these moments convey the deep sense of longing present in this series.
Charlotte Strode is a photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Kentucky, she finds documenting southern culture to be what she loves most.
