Style on the Spot: The Ogden Museum of Southern Art Fashion Camp
Two weeks of intense classroom instruction will come down to a stylish ten minutes during a runway show on Friday, featuring teen fashion designers as they showcase their work for the Odgen Museum of Southern Art's Fashion Camp. The camp is in its second year, and its upcoming showcase will feature at least one look by all fourteen students. Grayson Gold, a two-time camper, remains the lone male participant, but that hasn't stopped him. This is his fourth runway show, after participating in Haute and Handmade (2011) and Fashion Week New Orleans (2012).
The camp was founded by Veronica Cho, a New Orleans native and veteran of the fashion industry. Cho based the summmer program on her education from Parsons School of Design.
The show begins at 12:30 p.m. this Friday, July 20.
